The Netherlands, situated on the North Western side of Europe, is a nation that is known for its innovations and traditions. This country, also called Holland, is famous for tulip fields, magnificent architecture, windmills, cycling trails, beautiful landscapes, and cafes that are candlelit.

The capital city of Amsterdam is well known for the Van Gogh Museum, and Rijks Museum. This nation continues to attract tourists and students alike from all over the world.

A Provisional Residence Permit is required for an international student who wishes to study here for a period of three months. This is also called the MVV Visa and it's only an entry visa after which the foreign students have to register with the government of Netherlands to get a D-Visa for their stay in the Netherlands. A foreign student must submit the duly filled and signed application for MVV visa along with all the necessary supporting documents to get the visa.

If you wish to travel to the Netherlands as a tourist, you must apply for a Schengen Visa that is valid for a period of 90 days. To get a tourist visa you need to submit a duly filled visa application along with a valid passport, a covering letter explaining the purpose of your visit, a valid bank statement, proof of flight and hotel reservations, travel itinerary, a valid health insurance for your stay in the Netherlands and good health records.
